From a young age I have been compelled to look at things around me. Then with curiosity and wonder, investigate how they work within systems of science, nature, and technology. I like to observe and understand how humans behave within these systems. Because of this, I have sought education and experience in the fields of humanities, art, science, and technology. In recent years, I feel fortunate that I am able to incorporate these compulsions into sculptural manifestations that are created for indoor venues or specific spaces in the public realm. For the latter, I adjust my course and take into consideration the goals of the funding organization, the community, and my own sensibilities.
